Amol Acharya

Amol Acharya is a public finance and local governance expert with over a decade of experience in Nepal, working with USAID, The Asia Foundation, and a leading local NGO. He has managed major programs on fiscal federalism, decentralization, and public financial management, advising governments and donors on system strengthening, capacity building, and reform strategies. A Chevening and Erasmus Mundus scholar, he holds master’s degrees from the Institute of Development Studies, University of Sussex (MA in Governance, Development, and Public Policy) and from Kathmandu University/Uppsala University (MA in Development Studies). He has authored numerous publications and completed advanced professional courses with Duke University, IMF, World Bank, and ADB.
