FLC was established on August 8, 2024
The Federalism & Localization Center (FLC) was established on August 8, 2024, under a unique joint ownership and responsibility model, bringing together over two dozen representatives from all major political parties in Nepal, the Nepali Congress, Nepal Communist Party (UML), Maoist, and Madhes-based parties, along with experts from various disciplines. FLC fosters inclusive participation from all provinces. It is registered as a non-profit entity under the Company Act 2006 of the Government of Nepal, with any profits generated going to the Government's treasury. The FLC is committed to strengthening federalism, democracy, intergovernmental relations, and inclusion in Nepal.
