Khim Lal Devkota, PhD
Dr. Khim Lal Devkota, Chairperson of the Federalism and Localization Center (FLC), is a recognized expert in federalism, public finance, and intergovernmental relations, with over two decades of professional experience. He has held several prominent roles, including:
- Member of the National Assembly (2021–2024), where he chaired the Federalism Implementation and Monitoring Special Committee (2022).
- Vice Chairman of the Provincial Policy and Planning Commission, Bagmati Province (2018–2019).
- Member of the Local Bodies Fiscal Commission (2008).
- Member of the Intergovernmental Fiscal Council (2019–2021).
Dr. Devkota is also a research affiliate at the International Center for Public Policy, Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, Georgia State University.
